What is collaboration? As defined by Merriam Webster is to work jointly with others or together especially in an intellectual endeavor. Collaboration is a working practice whereby individuals work together to a common purpose to achieve benefit. Collaboration enables individuals to work together to achieve a defined and common purpose.

Ownership of the Property: The Deed of Sale was filed by Atty. Lee Lederman. The transfer of ownership from Absolute Property Management (Arthur Lauri) to the Philippine Nurses Association of America Foundation, Inc. (Merlita Velasquez) was recorded in the County of Middlesex on January 8. 2019. Property Tax = the November to December 2018 and the first quarter of 2019 were included in the Closing Payments on November 26, 2018

Excitement was apparent in everyone’s face as we entered the beautiful and spacious lobby of Hyatt Regency Hotel at the Hudson River in New Jersey! It was July 24, 2018 when delegates from all over the US started to arrive for the Annual Convention. Many see each other only once a year and so the scene was like a homecoming event with hugs, kisses, laughter, etc.

On July 25, the President, Dino Doliente III convened his Executive Board with PNAAF President Merlita Velasquez and Executive Director, Annie Vista. This was his last administration meeting and final reports were presented by the Officers and Committee Chairs. The past two years were very productive and a long list of achievements was presented by the President. The afternoon was the COP (Circle of Presidents) meeting, then Regional meeting followed by the Town Hall meeting with the President.

Owning a permanent home and headquarters has been a long time dream of the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA) and the Philippine Nurses Association of America Foundation (PNAAF). This year, 2018, the dream became a reality; a legacy to the Filipino Nurses.  The headquarters is located at 1346 How Lane, North Brunswick, New Jersey, 08901.

​Two Fellows were selected and each awardee will receive $1000 to support a health/nursing research activity or related scholarly project that has implication in nursing practice, education, scholarship, administration and research. The Fellowship is for a one-year period, starting in July 2017 and ending in July 2018. 

Never before has there been a special venue such as the last 38th PNAA National Convention held at Oasis of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International. The PNAA and PNAAF once again strengthened their relationship and culminated in a meaningful and significant partnership. The event is dubbed a huge success!

I came across these momentous pictures and I thought of sending it to all of you for sentimental value. In line with this, I would like to thank all of you again for having that vision and for working so hard unselfishly to fulfill that vision.

WASHINGTON, DC – Three accomplished and successful Filipino-American nurses: Leticia, C. Hermosa, JD, PhD, RN; Jeanette N. Livelo, DNP, MS/MBA, RN and Lorna Imperial Seidel, PhD, RN, CNS will launch the debut release of their groundbreaking leadership book entitled, “Lead, Empower, Transform: You Can Do It!” at the 37th Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA) annual national convention in Washington, DC.

Philippine Nurses Association of Metropolitan DC (PNAMDC) Hosts 37th PNAA Annual National Convention in Washington, DC, Theme “Leading the Way to Innovation Excellence Through Health Empowerment Advancement Leadership Transformation Healing (H.E.A.L.T.H)”

The PNAMDC Leadership Institute's goal is to set the pace for a Journey to HEALTH: Health, Empowerment, Advancement, Leadership, Transformation and Healing. However, a goal only exist if you are working to make it real. And REAL… it became on the 5th of September, 2015.

The 3rd International PNAAF Collaborative Conference launched withan awe! There were about 30 delegates from the United States joined the event. Proud to say that it was well attended by SCR delegates like Merlita Velasquez, Romeo Devera, Dr. Danet Lapiz-Bhlum, Glenise Perez, Ted  Ray-Llasos, Dr. Luz Llasos, Gina Shankar, Jose Gene Danugrao and Michelle Cendana.  

The Philippine Nurses Association of America Foundation (PNAAF) in collaboration with Filamer Christian University College of Nursing (FCUCN) held the 3rd International Collaborative Conference on January 22 to 23, 2015 at Kapis Mansions , Capiz, Roxas City, Philippines.

The 2nd International Collaborative Conference sponsored by the Philippine Nurses Association of America Foundation (PNAAF) and the Central Philippine Adventist College (CPAC) School of Nursing was held on February 6-8, 2013 at L’Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City, Philippines.

Purpose: To establish guidelines when screening applicants for the Nursing Scholarship Award. The purpose of this award is to encourage and provide support to members to obtain a Master's Degree in Nursing, Post Master's Program or Doctoral Program.
